Background
Born in Brest. Graduated from Brest State University with a degree in History and Socio-Political Disciplines. Completed a course at EHU on the functioning and policies of the European Union. Dedicated her thesis to the history of the EU.
Has lived in Slovenia for 11 years. Founder of "Sunny Wind" — a sailing yacht vacation company. Yacht captain with more than 30,000 nautical miles.
Political and civic activity
Has been involved in political activity since her youth: headed the "Youth of the UCP" in the Brest region, organised youth electoral campaigns, worked in election headquarters in Minsk and Brest.
In 2004, served as an observer at referendums in Poland and Lithuania on EU accession.
Returned to active civic-political activity in August 2020. One of the initiators of the People's Embassies of Belarus network and its coordinator.
Member of the Coordination Council, third convocation. Heads the International Commission of the CC. Represents Belarusian democratic forces in the Contact Group of the Council of Europe and heads the delegation to PACE.
Participated in the development and promotion of the "Luxembourg Decisions" as a comprehensive approach to solving documentary problems of Belarusians in exile.
Developed the strategic document "Priorities of the International Activity of Democratic Forces" based on the idea of "Independent, Democratic, European Belarus".
As green economy coordinator in the economic team of the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, developed the concept of "Green Economy of Belarus".
Priorities in the Coordination Council
Systematically consolidating the international subjectivity of democratic forces and ensuring real protection of the rights of Belarusians abroad. Priorities: legalisation and documentation, visa issuance and freedom of movement, access to banking services, countering transnational repressions (including persecution through Interpol), expanding representation in European institutions, and strengthening coordination of international work.
Personal
Hitchhiked across nearly all of Belarus. Travelled to more than 50 countries. Passionate about diving. Walked 300 km on the Camino de Santiago in support of political prisoners. In Slovenia, led a campaign against the extradition of a Belarusian at the request of Interpol. Languages: Belarusian, Russian, English, Slovenian, Ukrainian, Polish, German, some Spanish and Italian. Married, mother of a daughter and a son.
